International Plant Propagators' Society - New Zealand Region

About IPPS Membership

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

  • The opportunity to Seek and Share knowledge, experience and understanding between people who work with, grow, study or simply love plants.
  • The Combined Proceedings (The Black Book) is a hard-backed volume produced each year. It contains all the papers which are given at the regional conferences world-wide during the course of the year and so is a wealth of technical information and enables members to gain from others experience. This is now also available on CD.
If your membership is an Option 1, and you have paid your subscription by the due date, the you will automatically receive the Combined Proceedings that are published in the Spring of the following year. A combined Index of all the articles is published in a separate book.
We heartily recommend an Option 1 membership as this brings you the greatest benefits. Some back copies are available from the Secretary.
Option 2 membership gives you all the same benefits as Option 1, but does not include the Combined Proceedings book.
  • It is IPPS policy to publish index’s, detailing all conferences from 1951, every 10 years. These are indexed by author, species and subject matter. Again some back copies are available from the Secretary.
  • Membership Directory – a register listing names, places of work and home addresses, telephone, fax and email numbers of all members
  • The chance to pick up technical tips from those with experience.
  • The opportunity to meet like-minded people on a friendly, informal basis.
  • A web site of www.ipps.org is available for information on the Regions around the world including New Zealand
