IPPS New Zealand Committee Profile

Jeff Elliott

Forty-eight years old started, started Elliott’s Wholesale Nursery in 1981 and been a member of IPPS since then and joined the committee because I thought it was about time I gave something back.
I employ 17 staff including Caroline, my wife, and the nursery covers about 25 acres. I love propagation (rooting) and still marvel every day at the wonders of plant propagation.

I am always full of ideas and experiment to try. My knowledge base is varied and quite well rounded, but specialises in hardy ornamental trees and shrubs with a special affection for rhododendrons.
